This search engine is designed for searching through the Quran's text using a normalized string match method, which may also be called a rasm search. The results include the string/letter arrangement that you search for, whether they exist independently in the Quran or are part of a larger word. The search is normalized, meaning ḥarakāt are ignored and variations of some characters (such as hamza) are treated the same. This allows as wide a search within the Quran as possible. Searching for رحم will by design return الرحمن.

If you wish to count the number of times a word is mentioned in the Quran, go through the results and press "Count This Result" on each relevant result. The custom count will be shown at the top of the page.

This search engine was designed and coded by me with the help of AI to speed up the process. I also supplied large amounts of debugging, code overhauls, text processing improvements, and aches in my head to ensure the success of the project. The Quranic text is provided by quran-json.
